What is Best Bar None?
Best Bar None is a national award scheme supported by the Home Office aimed at promoting responsible management and operation of alcohol licensed premises. Since 2003, it has been adopted by over 75 towns and cities across the UK.
Licensed premises that apply for Woking Best Bar None are assessed to determine whether they meet an agreed set of operational standards. If they do, they will become a Best Bar None accredited venue.
Each year all accredited venues have the chance to win awards chosen by an independent panel of judges.
Vote for your favourite place
Voting for your favourite licensed premises in the Borough will be open from 6 August 2018, with the winners announced in October 2018. You will be able to vote using the Woking Best Bar None phone app or visiting the voting page on this website from July.
Voting enters you into a prize draw for a chance to win a weekend retreat for two (£400 in value) in Dartmoor National Park. The runner-up prize is £100 of vouchers to spend in two Woking 2018 BBN premises, courtesy of Woking Best Bar None sponsors, Asahi UK. The winners will need to be able to attend a photocall.
