The closing date for applications is 6pm, 2 August 2018 (applications received after this date are at the discretion of the Woking BBN review panel).
The application will form the first part of the accreditation process only.
The assessors visit is designed to judge the standard of compliance to the accreditation criteria, therefore applicants must make themselves and their premises available for inspection.
Accreditation means the venue is deemed to have satisfied the minimum standards set by the scheme and can display the award.
The applicant must be either the designated premises supervisor or the premises licence holder; the premises must hold a licence in Woking Borough.
Category winners will be selected by an independent panel from the highest scoring accredited venues.
The judges decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
All prizes will be presented at the Woking Best Bar None awards event.
At the time of the awards’ presentation, the accredited premises are acknowledged to have reached agreed standards. If the standards fall below the achieved level at any time, the award may be withdrawn.
The Woking Best Bar None plaques, window stickers and certificates remain the property of Woking Borough Council.
Winning an award does not give a premises immunity from prosecution for any offences and is no guarantee of the safety of the premises.
