The scheme is your opportunity to shine and promote your business as the best. Achieving accreditation, either Gold, Silver or Bronze, demonstrates the seriousness and commitment with which you operate your business – it’s a superb way to build your reputation both within the trade and the public.
To become an accredited venue, each premises will need to demonstrate how they implement the four key licensing objectives:
- prevention of crime and disorder
- public safety
- prevention of public nuisance
- protection of children from harm.
You can apply online. Once you have completed your application, a member of the Woking Best Bar None Team will contact you to arrange a convenient time to visit the venue.
Each assessment will last between two and three hours and consist of a thorough examination of the procedures and processes in place at each premises.
Assessments are based on essential, desired and bonus elements. In order to be considered for a higher award, premises must achieve accreditation and score highly in the desired elements (this can be achieved for good practice which goes beyond the essential criteria) and bonus elements (achieved where the applicant demonstrates additional or innovative work practices).
To help you achieve the highest accreditation possible, check out our online Knowledge Hub for best practice and template policies.
